I used the Audi e-tron for this assignment.

1.   Does your selected EV have on-board charging?
Yes, the Audi e-tron does come with an on-board charger.
2.   What is the rated AC input voltage of the on-board charger?
The on-board charger has 2 acceptable input voltages. Level 1 is used for standard 120V circuits and Level 2 is used for 240V systems.
3.   What is the DC output voltage of the on-board charger?
The DC output voltage of the on-board charger is 400V
4.   What is the Battery pack nominal voltage?
Battery pack nominal voltage is 396V
5.   What type of motor is connected?
The Audi e-tron is equipped with 2 asynchronous AC motors, one for the front axle and one for the rear combining for 402hp.
6.   Is there an inverter needed in the drive unit?
Yes, an inverter is needed to convert the DC power from the battery to AC to power the motors. Each motor is equipped with its own power electronics module to convert the electricity. The inverter includes a microcontroller which is used for controlling the motor as well as monitoring the thermal management system of the electrical units.
7.   Is there a high voltage DC-DC converter on-board the vehicle?
Yes, the e-tron is equipped with a DC-DC converter.
8.   What type of cooling methodology is used? - Passive air, active air, active liquid?
The e-tron is cooled using active liquid. 22L of coolant circulate around 40m of cooling pipes throughout the vehicle.
9.   Any other interesting observations you'd like to share?
The Audi e-tron comes with a recuperation system which is responsible for up to 30% of the car's range. Its electric motors function as a generator and convert the kinetic energy of the Audi e-tron into electric energy. Recuperation can be achieved both when the driver releases the accelerator and when applying pressure to the brake.

Is there a high voltage DC-DC converter on-board the vehicle?
Yes, a high voltage DC-DC convertor is available to step down the voltage from the high voltage battery pack and send it to the 12 V battery.
What type of cooling methodology is used? - Passive air, active air, active liquid?
The active liquid is used as a coolant.
Any other interesting observations you'd like to share?
There are three different types of charging available,
Level 1: 120 V AC input, charges at a rate of 1.2 KW per hour(59 hours from empty to 100%)
Level 2: 240 V AC input, 6KW per hour (9.5 hours from empty to 100%)
Level 3: DC fast charger available for public use. Two different charger types available are  50KW charger and 100 KW charger (requires Combo connector for charging)
