What is the status of Charging Infrastructure in India?

There is nothing really on the ground. All put together there would be less than 300 public charging stations in India, most of them erected by the private players for their captive use or as demonstration units. Fast chargers are still only in few numbers as samples / demo units. Some shopping malls, commercial establishment and offices do have charging sockets in their parking lots, specially in metros.
