Embedded Applications Engineer

This is your chance to join the core team of MakerMax in New Delhi where you will work with highly skilled and passionate engineers with a focus on electric vehicles and embedded systems.

This opening is for an enthusiastic embedded applications engineer who is able to create schematics and design multi-layer PCBs for complex embedded systems boards as well as power electronic boards. The candidate should have really strong fundamentals in firmware programming and board bringup.

Btech in electrical and computer engineering with minimum 3-4 years of solid industry experience in firmware programming. Masters is preferred but not necessary. The candidate will work alongside lead members of the team, but should be independent, motivated and a self starter.

Skills needed for the job
1. Be able to write low level drivers for different 32 bit processors
2. Be comfortable with 32 bit microcontrollers, ARM architecture, CMSIS, HAL
libraries and peripherals such as ADC, DAC, I2C, SPI, UART.
3. Excellent hands on experience in C, C++ and Python with projects to demonstrate is a must.
4. Previously worked with Eclipse based development environments with GCC compiler.
5. Comfortable with the Linux operating system
6. Comfortable with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analyzers
7. Be able to read hardware schematics
8. Strong interest in teaching and education

The candidate will work alongside lead members of the team, but should be independent, motivated and a self starter.

1. Comfortable with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analyzers
2. Be able to read hardware schematics
3. Have strong fundamentals in C programming
4. Should have knowledge of designing PCBs
5. Video, audio editing skills is a plus
6. Strong interest in teaching and education
